We're excited to share some good news with our community: M-Spec Performance's third annual food drive in partnership with City Harvest wrapped up successfully, and we're grateful for everyone who participated!
This Year's Results
From November 3rd through December 15th, 2025, our community came together once again. Thanks to your generosity, we collected 945 pounds of canned and non-perishable foods—up from 750 pounds in 2024. We're happy to see our efforts growing each year, and more importantly, we're grateful to help more families in need.
Why We Do This
When we started this tradition three years ago, we had a simple goal: to do something good within our community, for our community. Partnering with City Harvest gave us the perfect opportunity to make a real difference. Through City Harvest, these donations go directly to kids and families in need who may not have food on the table during the holidays. That's what it's all about.
How It Worked
The concept was simple: customers who donated 5 or more cans of food or non-perishable items received a $50 certificate toward their future car service at M-Spec Performance. But as we've learned over the years, our community doesn't need much incentive to help those in need—you just need the opportunity.

To our amazing customers in Middle Village, Glendale, Elmhurst, and Forest Hills—thank you for showing up. Whether you brought in a few cans or, like one incredibly generous customer, three full cases of canned foods, every contribution made a difference. Your kindness and community spirit continue to inspire us.
A special shout-out goes to our incredible team at M-Spec Performance and Essential Auto Care. From relentlessly reminding customers about the drive to creating fun awareness videos, you made this campaign come alive. Our technicians went above and beyond—checking every single item for expiration dates (yes, it's as tedious as it sounds!), organizing everything into boxes for easy pickup, and keeping the positive energy going throughout the entire drive. This wouldn't have been possible without your dedication.
